Standard distribution transformers suffer severe thermal overheating and premature dielectric insulation breakdown when operated at altitude without specialized derating engineering.

2. Customized Engineering Solution

XinHuan sales engineers designed a custom high-altitude 5000 kVA 33kV/0.48kV oil-immersed power transformer with expanded radiator cooling surface (+25% heat dissipation reserve), grain-oriented silicon steel core mitered step-lap miter joints to minimize no-load losses, high creepage distance porcelain bushings (>31mm/kV), and C5-M heavy industrial anti-corrosion marine paint.
